Someone didn't want to get up this morning

And I know the feeling well. Struggled to get up too. But things seem to be ok in the lab. Signed off on a couple of pieces of work before my vacation, but got stuff added to the long list of things to do on my return.

Lab meeting today. Like torture. Constant battle between the presenter and the boss as usual for this person. The boss definitely gives her a hard time, more so than others. Sometimes she deserves it, sometimes it's out of order. But at the end of the day she has the most publishable story out of anyone.

My friend had a good time learning to surf today. Will have to give it a go myself sometime soon. Pick the fiancée up from the airport tonight. Then one more night of being unmarried. What to do.....
