Decorate

Tadaaa! as promised yesterday, the sum total of my Tuesday afternoon's work (my beachy summery mantle) - was loads more fun than washing dishes or hoovering up dog hair I have to say...Mr Tex came home and commented that there were probably better uses for my time...I laughed...it seemed like an appropriate response LOL

Today we were promised rain, you could see it coming on the radar, a huge blob of green with smatterings of red and yellow thrown in. The skies went a lovely shade of grey, the temperature dropped, a cool breeze started to blow and in the distance thunder rumbled quietly ...you could smell the rain coming .... I kept going outside to watch the skies, or just sit and enjoy the coolness...and then it literally broke apart, went around us, and rebuilt itself after it had passed by - really! Im not kidding, I watched (in disbelief) on the radar - did someone build a waterproof dome over this place? bah humbug rain!
