Number One or Number Two?

I got home last night to no heating downstairs, I thought it was low pressure in the system, which I topped up and it made a recovery. However, no heating downstairs again this morning. It appears one of the two way valves is giving up the will to live. It's number one. You can set it manually, which is a good thing because have you ever tried to get a plumber this side of the New Year?

In other news, Christmas is postponed!

Dad now has COVID as well as mum, so we've decided to postpone until New Year's Eve, then they have some time to recover. Mum is on immunosuppressants for her rheumatoid arthritis so she's finding it all a bit wearing.
