Mull II: Malin Force 8 continuing

It felt like the light from the distant sun was having to fight its way down to Earth as morning broke. We donned wet gear and looked for somewhere sheltered to walk. We tried the spectacular road along the western side of Calgary Bay but this became aerated to an unviable degree as we headed out to the crashing waves. Spectacular and with hardly a car to the track we blew back and walked out across the beach.

Later in Tobermory we bought books at the fishing shop and took a soaking from incessant sails of rain.on the way back the Mishnish lochs were being whipped up into a fury. For full unadulterated rolling moorland whiteout we took the tiny backroad to Torloisk and then along the enchantments of the coast road to Treshnish.
