First Attempt!

We met some friend and took them for a ramble around Trentham Gardens. We visited the bird hide explaining that this is usually where we get a glimpse of a kingfisher but not always. And as the water in the River Trent is so high it would be very unlikely.

Well, would you believe it  - there it was on the perch! I couldn't get my camera out of my bag fast enough. I did manage a few shots before it flew off. And I was really pleased with them. This new camera is soooo good!
