Tapestry hill

Today I was at Dovecot Studios where large tapestries are woven and it also houses a gallery. It's an interesting building as it used to be a swimming bath and you can go up to the public viewing gallery and look down on the weavers who are where the bath used to be. I was doing a beginner's tapestry workshop and I enjoyed it much more than I thought I would, having somewhat lost my confidence recently because of my experiences with mosaic and macrame. This photo is of my effort today. I might do some more tapestry with the same tutor, Fiona Hutchison.
