Up in the clouds

We decided to do one of the official excursions as we had a voucher for ?60 off.
One of them was billed as a romantic evening with a 3 course meal, cava as the sun set, and a guide to the stars in the sky. So it was back up Teide again...I didn't really fancy driving it in the dark.

It wasn't especially romantic being with 20 odd other couples but the views of the sunset and of the stars were awesome, being up above the cloud layer. Tenerife is supposedly one of the 3 best places in the world to see the stars and our guide was great, explaining all the constellations.
