Moonlit cloisters
I had no idea until late last night that Ben's class were putting on a performance of The Little Prince and that we were to take food for an after performance and graduation ceremony party. So it's a good job Mrs P was here to take her along too.
Yes I did sniff a bit. They were all so grown up. Many tears for the girls particularly in that group, which has grown in size but also in the huge camaraderie that they have now and no doubt will have forever. The benefits of growing up together in a small town.
The production was really remarkable, with all the costumes and scenery made by them, multitech and with real expression and humour . Ben was not an actor, but did his bit elsewhere behind scenes and I love to watch him with his friends celebrating their lives together. All the little brothers and sisters were doing the same cheering at the front or later, part of a big clan milling around the school cloisters under a big shiny moon and the bougainvillea. Magic
