In April one of Putin’s elite security officers defected. He gave all sorts of information into the paranoid world. He “has revealed in an interview that Putin is so paranoid about his personal security, assassination attempts and health and that he opts to stay 'in his bunker' rather than make regular trips across the country like he used to. 

Now, another person defected. Igor Salikov, 60, a former officer with the Russian intelligence agency who says he fought for Wagner has said he will testify about Russian war crimes.
