Waiting

The start of a week cruising the Caribbean. Unfortunately not a great start with a 3 plus hour wait on the plane due to a fault in one of the flight control computers! I’m sure I heard the captain say ‘we’re waiting for the engineer to fix it , or give us confirmation it is safe to fly without it!’

We arrived to sunset and a short trip to the port and the biggest ship we’ve ever been on. Frustratingly as we head to bed our suitcases have not been brought to our cabin. The staff on reception seem confident they will be found but unsympathetic. Some emergency wooden toothbrushes have been provided!
