In the trenches

Apologies for the most dull photograph ever posted on blipfoto, but it seems this was the only photo taken by LH today.

The evaluation at Callander has shown that there is no archaeological features surviving on site. All very uninspiring. However, the day was saved by the enthusiasm and interest of the Callander Primary pupils. LH spent almost all of the day explaining archaeology to each of the classes in turn, showing them artefacts and answering questions. Great fun!
