Bandol at dusk

We were awake at 3.30 this morning and on the road at 4.45 am, with 1092 kms to go. We had breakfast in the Champagne region and then stopped for lunch the other side of Lyon.

We had a good journey without any holdups, and arrived in Bandol about 4.30pm, unpacked, made the beds and put everything away before going out for dinner. The restaurant we were planning to go to was closed, so we went next door and sat overlooking the beach. I took a few photos and then it started to rain, but as we weren't undercover we started to get wet, so they moved us into a little Bamboo gazebo with a roof covered with reeds. It was really cosy and kept us dry!

We're back at the apartment now and very tired, so heading to bed - tomorrow is another day!
