Ellie rode Jack for us tonight just to see how he went with an older stronger rider. He didn't resist at all and looked completely happy in walk trot and canter. Good news. Hopefully he's feeling better. 

Busy day at work. Then Lime had farrier. We've taken Buddy's shoes off for a couple of months as we're only hacking out at weekends now and his feet are good enough to cope. Will save myself a bit of £.

Difficult conversation with my sister tonight. Apparently I need to pop in more often to see mum "just for a couple of hours" .I think she's forgotten it's a 4hr round trip and I work 5 days a week. If I set off after work and doing the horses and dinner I can be back home and in my bed by 2am. Perfect!
