Yes well...

Not a good photo at all.

It was a bit of a failure of a day in general. The plan was to go back to Bois de Boulogne to hire a rowing boat and have a picnic on the island.

We got there and ended up having to eat our picnic under a tree sheltering from the rain. Spent a while debating when was the best time to leave, ie. how to get least wet. Headed to La Defense to do some food shopping before Martin made fajitas for tea while I wrote some letters to cancel various French things that need cancelling. It's nice having someone cooking for me.

This photo was taken when we rushed out the door to go see the new Star Trek film. We saw the English version with French subtitles but that meant the Klingon was translated into French not English so I had to do some translating for Martin. Not a lot though and he said he'd got the gist of it from the French anyway. Quite enjoyed the film especially Benedict Cumberbatch.
