Eye splice on a bummel

This rope is very easy to splice, it has 12 strands and is plaited but has no core.
So when you splice it the bitter end is passed through the rope to form an eye, then you put the standing end through the bitter end to form the bummel. Finally the bitter end is passed through the standing part and buried inside the plaited tube.
Start to finish 15 minutes max.
There are stronger constructions of rope but they have cores and are really hard work to splice.
