Splashed rose

This is an opening rosebud from the same rose mentioned in yesterday's Blip. I gave it a quick spray with the water bottle before snapping this shot. There were a few shots to choose from, but I let Charlotte make the final decision - since the rose is her namesake. It is a David Austin rose named Charlotte.
