Swans

Swans came to say hello today at the Forth & Clyde Canal. My weather app was spot on; wet at first, then clearing up. A balmy 12 degrees, and even some sunshine later. No complaints, for mid-December. A 20 mile jaunt, I would have gone further, but stopped by reed-cutters, of all things. Machinery all over the shop, and a big fat van to stop any 'nipping by'. Pfft.

I'm into Missouri on my Route 66 walk, just past the New Chain of Rocks Bridge. 2% ahead of time. That'll do.
