HIGHLIGHTS

It is another grey-ish day but the sun is breaking through the clouds enough to highlight the waves splashing on the little beach at the old (Nepoleonic) Volunteers Battery along the shore path.  
It is almost too windy to walk.

Extra Shreddies Report:  the Marks and Spencer underpants are reduced to one leg, a waistband and a few matted strings. The clothes-pegs are the heroes of this experiment; ten pegs are still holding fast after three months.
