It’s getting closer

The big day is this time next week.

It’s nice to see that at least one of our local churches is having a watch night service. 

Now, I’m generally not that religious, but it irks me that there seems to be a view nowadays among many people, organisations and businesses that you don’t really need to mention religion in connection with the ‘season’.

I would never buy or send ‘Seasons Greetings’ cards, as Christmas is not a season, like Spring, Summer etc. It’s a Christian religious birthday.
