RHS Wisley, Spotlit Roses.
After a crossing of a glassy calm Solent en route to London I called in for my usual visit to RHS Wisley gardens.
By contrast to the last time I was there when the gardens had a covering of snow, today was hot and humid with the rose garden looking particularly resplendent.
The conditions for photography were challenging with contrasty lighting to contend with due to the strong sunlight. Not that I was complaining about that.
I found these roses named Norwich Castle spotlit in a pocket of shade.
