Light bulb trees

These are the lights in Plymouth that I love the most! They are never removed from the trees. There is a purity about just clear bulbs which produce white light. Had another carol service this evening. This was our own carol service. Once again there was candle light and the church was full to the “gunnels”. It was quite a tough sing as I hadn’t drunk enough liquid and my throat was a bit raw however everyone else was in good voice! There was no refreshments at the end of the service but I had a good walk home with Jay, a student who lives in the royal William yard. He will be joining the choir after Christmas to sing tenor with Jacob who is our one tenor voice!

Christmas still seems so far away but I suspect the time will go quickly!
