Out of the blue..

came this Herring Gull.

A totally stunning day today.. 20 degrees and a light, warm breeze made it a perfect day. I went along to the lighthouse again to try and take a picture of the little birds I had seen yesterday tripod in tow but it was breezier out on the point and so they were not sitting around singing just whirling past on the wind!! Another day I will surely manage to get some photos.

So instead we have a herring gull who flew over me as I sat looking out to sea with the cloudless sky above . Hope you have all had a sunny day..it was summer!!
