Carol service

An early morning spin with a coffee and a slice of Saffron cake with Julie and her mum who was celebrating her 91st birthday today. On my ride back I spotted 2 kingfishers, quite a few Curlews, Egrets, Oystercatchers and Redshanks. Fieldfairs, Redwings and Canada geese, a cock Bullfinch and a Heron.
After cooking the Sunday dinner I produced 3 dozen mince pies, some shortcrust some puff pastry. Took a half of them to the Bring and share Carol service with Auntie.
