Quite Festive?

The Genoa resplendent with its new red strips.
Bit of a major piece of work not helped by putting the foot strip on the wrong side of the sail so I had to unpick it and put it where it belonged. The problem was that the material goes on first with the inside outside and the middle to the edge, it then gets sewn on and you turn it over so the outside which was inside is now outside and the middle becomes the edge.
Anyway a lot of sewing, the long edge is over 7 metres and the foot is three and a half and each edge has three rows of stitching.
