PARTY TIME

Forgot that yesterday the Rev had surgery booked to remove the glass with a specialist surgeon. I dropped him at 7:30 after an hours drive then another hour onto work!!! He rang me upset that they were giving him a general anaesthetic not a local and he was going to the same theatre that the kidney transplant happened in!!! It took us both back to 6 years ago. I had lots of tears at school then didn’t hear until 2pm that he was out of surgery!!! It ended up being 2 hours surgery!!! I was so worried and emotional exhausted!!!
So today I drove him to work as he had an important meeting the went on to work for half day…then back to collect him from work!!!
We both had an afternoon nap!!!!

However with a good dose of gin I managed to have a fabulous evening with the staff at our Christmas bash…. I danced most of the night until 11:30…it must have been magical gin!!! It was such a great time and my first staff Christmas party for 5 years because you don’t get asked as a supply teacher.
