The focus is on Joy and happiness when we consider the Advent preparation for Jesus's birth in our lives.
Today is the 87th birthday of Pope Francis.
It is cold here in Rishton.
The cats are resting in one of their favourite places after much running about and a good meal.
After watching a good Catholic Holy Mass from The Emerald Isle, a wonderful televised celebration, broadcast via Shalom World on YouTube, I watched Songs of Praise as that is now my Sunday faith filled way of devotion to the Lord. Lunch was apple juice and a Marmite sandwich.
Paul survived day one of stopping smoking cigarettes. It was a great joy when he bought his patches home, but withdrawing from nicotine addiction is not really very easy and emotions can rise to the surface that need care and healing with kindress and it is a testing time, without any doubts.
I have been out for a walk to post Christmas cards to C and E and R. It is dry and cold. 8c but feels like 5c.
Mary Berry's Highland Christmas is on 2:20pm and really worth watching again!!
