Red wing blackbird snack time

Today was a cloudy damp day. The air was6c this afternoon but the wind made it feel cooler. I got down to the lake to feed the birds and to my surprise that one of the red wing black birds has not flown south. It looks like the female partner decided to stay behind too. It must be because of the mild weather we have been having wit the lack of snow and ice.
