Mulled wine in The Retreat

MrH wasn’t too well today so we checked out the shops and got a few bits and bobs. Back home by 5:30 as he seemed to be still suffering from a viral bug he got in Ireland and wanted to go home at about 3pm (pretty unusual). He’s been drinking warm water all evening but still isn’t right.

His folks are over from France and visiting the next county up for a couple of weeks at least. Hopefully he will be well enough to see them.

Watched The Strictly final and was delighted to hear the hot off the press Eurovision news as Olly is one of my favourite singers representing the UK next year. The bad news is that he or his usual gang won’t be writing the song so it’s back a game of chance and possibly something not fabulous.
