Pub

Lovely walk by the river first thing, and papers not arrived so hubby had to pop out mid way through breakfast.
Morning spent doing a few jobs and then we went for a walk and called into the pub for a mid day beer. There are two pubs in the village, four when we arrived 15 years ago, and this one we never use but thought we would try. No atmosphere and seemed to be more staff than customers, bit messy and most of the pumps not on. It’s either the new management or a team from the brewery as the old team left last month. Should have gone to the other one. Ordered a calendar for next year, first time I have made my own so will be interesting to see how it looks. Lovely cold dry weather and nice views up the hill.
I liked the way the sun was catching the front door as we left.
Home tomorrow and dropping all Christmas gifts to both my and hubbies siblings on way, so will be quite a long journey.
Going to watch the first episode of season two of Reacher.
