À Paris 1995

Daughter#1 is in Paris, celebrating her 40th birthday.

As it happens mrsfb also went to Paris to mark this important milestone so I thought I would search out some of the photos from then. Pre-digital of course so I had to do some scanning. There were three pics i really liked so I thought a collage creation might be a good idea for a blip. It wasn't as easy as I imagined, but along the way I've learned a lot more about selection, masking, and feathering in Photoshop.

In other news we enjoyed the get together with some of our neighbours last night. I might have had a few glasses of red wine. At one point my Fitbit buzzed as a WhatsApp came in from camera club. There was a long ongoing conversation about low ISO specs for various cameras. Before I knew it I had tapped my watch and sent a single word contribution to the dialogue 'No!'. I managed to delete it and no one asked me what I had meant. WhatsApp can be dangerous at times. Occasionally someone accidentally posts a voice message. Not that I have ever done that myself of course!

No more mice for a couple of days but would you believe they have managed to find a way of extracting the food from the traps without springing them! I feel there is a battle of wits ongoing here.
