Blip Advent Calendar - Day 16!

The beautiful North East coastline is behind window number 16.. and it's my beloved Whitley Bay!

A wonderful day spent walking from Seaton Sluice to Whitley Bay, looking around the little shops, and then walking back to Seaton Sluice. The bonus was being able to walk across to St Mary's Lighthouse and actually climb the lighthouse!! 137 steep steps and 22 ladder steps to the top. It was a real treat, and the sight of seals on the rocks surrounding it was too.

Today is also my Po's 25th birthday. If you know me, you'll probably know Po who's been through with me through the lowest lows and highest highs! She's been on many an adventure by plane, boat, bike, bus and car, posed at the top of Alpe d'Huez, sat in the cockpit of a plane in the pilot's chair and rode a scooter down a hill. Yes it makes me slightly mad, but I couldn't care less. So much more than a Teletubby hot water bottle cover!

It's time for the Strictly Come Dancing final and of course nail painting. It's a combination of Love at Frost Sight which is a sparkly light blue with a top coat of Whimsical Dreams for added sparkle.
