Lamplighting

There are a few things we want to change in our kitchen; a new worktop as we don't like the one we have (the one we chose from the builders got held up when that ship went aground in the Suez Canal so we had to pick another at short notice from a photo), installing a range cooker which the builders wouldn't do as it didn't fit their standard design for this house, and installing extra under-cupboard lighting as we didn't install enough when we specified it 'off plan'.  It isn't a completely new kitchen, just a re-jig of what we've got, although it will still be quite a costly job.  We've had trouble finding anyone to do it and have only had one man round so far who we didn't hear from again.  However, today we had someone round who was very enthusiastic, full of ideas and sounded very promising.  We expected him to take about half an hour but he was with us for well over an hour and a half, and will hopefully come up with some quotes for us fairly soon.

Having been out shopping most of the morning I hadn't had time to take a blip shot but spotted a lovely red sky as the kitchen man was leaving.  Unfortunately, by the time he actually went and I got my camera, the red had all but disappeared.  So instead, here's a festive lamp.
