Repurposed flooring

We went Christmas shopping in Newton Abbot today, or should I say Austin’s because Newton is more or less Austin’s town. It is a top quality department store, family run, housed in several buildings.
We had our lunch though, not in Austin’s, where you will often see Mr Austin, or Mr Austin, or Mrs Austin having a baked potato, or a Coffee, but in the Osiro Lounge cafe bar. It has a recycled feel to the decor and a very relaxed vibe. The floor looks splendid, and has come from a school hall or gym and was previously arranged with different coloured lines, for playing different sports. Now the neat wooden blocks are laid as they come. It could be a dance floor as well but we didn’t try it.
