Today we went to do some Christmas shopping and went to Kinnaird Park to the big N..t store there. Thank goodness the weather had been a bit better here.
We had Josie for the afternoon and she was in such good form. She loved the Christmas tree, they have an artificial one at home. Our nativity scene is set up but only has Angels, sheep and Mary and Joseph in it at the moment. I'm sure in Bethlehem the sheep were making good use of the stable until the landlord let it out, a bit like air BnB I suppose.
She's had a great time singing to me too. I'm sure at the age of 2 years and 3 months, I didn't know even the two or three lines she knows of Deck the Halls with Boughs of Holly and O Tanenbaum. She may not know any more of the words but she clearly knew the tune.
We've had a quiet evening as Josie is sleeping over and we would like her to sleep. It's the first time for a while and she went to bed very happily.
