Christmas spirit!

Our local Co op has taken it upon itself to now have all the spirit drinks under lock & key! (wonder what that says about our local populus)
Now if you wish to purchase a bottle of the strong stuff, you have to  ring the bell in the blue circle and wait....and wait....and wait some more until a member of staff comes and unlocks the doors and hands you your chosen bottle! I rung the blue bell half expecting a loud siren to go off with a flashing neon light proclaming the Scottish word alki flashing on and off!
When the guy duly arrived to unlock the door so I could choose my goodies, I asked him has it affected the sale of alcohol to which he replied  "drastically" I do believe our inept Scottish Government may have inadvertently found a way to make us all avoid the demon drink!
