Goldfinch

My goldfinch family arrived on cue just as I wondered what to blip.

I'd the tripod already set up in the conservatory which although cold was still warmer than outside. The bird table was loaded with sunflower hearts, peanuts and suet pellets whilst the feeder was topped up with niger seed. Nothing unusual has arrived so far as I'm aware and the finches mainly are up to their usual tricks fighting and quarrelling with disputes galore.

We have a bigger mouse; one that has eaten a tea light. No doubt he will be waxing lyrical to his friends about throwing a Christmas party. Hubs is out buying yet another replacement trap.
