Elegant clouds

I spotted these clouds early in the day before the sun rose above the trees. I think they might be wave clouds (but happy to be corrected) and I thought the they looked like elegant birds flying across the sky.
It was a lovely day which was very welcome as A had come to do some work in the garden for me. I was very pleased to get the grass cleared around the fruit trees and to have it replaced by a thick layer of mulch which should trickle goodness down to the roots during the winter and spring.
