Apple Upgrades Again.

Today Apple issued major software upgrades for iPhones, iPads, Macs and various other devices. In our family this affects four devices.

There are also security updates for older devices and that affects a further two devices.

Today’s entry shows Pat’s older iPad Pro starting on the process. Until the process is completed it is a bit like watching paint dry and I have things to do.

All of this is relatively straightforward and after a few hours everything is updated. All seems to be working well.

The approved locksmith arrived. Very quickly, he was able to remove the broken mechanism and install a temporary lock until a replacement 3 point system is obtained.

The original mechanism had broken up owing to metal fatigue.
