While my neighbors go totally over the top decorating their garden all around the house with hundreds of multicolored lights, we decided to keep it simple this year.
We have two of these small Christmas trees planted in a pot, The second one waits still to be decorated. But I keep forgetting.

Today was a cleaner day and I had to drive to Coos Bay to pick up my new glasses.
While trying them out, a fairly heavy woman fell over, backwards, when she tried to get up from her chair, just in front of us. She obviously broke one leg, it stuck out quite awkwardly to one side while she was wailing loudly. No one understood how that came to happen, but an ambulance had to be called. She was obviously a cancer and chemo patient, so it might have been her other health issues that caused her to loose balance.
