Raining at 7 o’clock then when I looked out a few hours later there was blue sky. After that mist but with the occasional glimpse of blue . . . . . there was a temperature inversion.

I found the item I was looking for yesterday in another cupboard and many other things I’d forgotten I had. A few bits have gone back, some are in a banana box for a charity shop, one item for recycling and the rest in the bin.

Late morning a hair cut, home for lunch then an afternoon walk. Thought I’d be able to avoid wet grass, mud and puddles by walking on the path over to Loughrigg Tarn. It nearly worked.
