A Blip for smartness
These highland cattle belong to a friend of my daughters who, as commoners, have the right to run their cattle on the common lands of the moor. We were begging to think they were not coming onto the moor this year then a couple of day ago we saw a few cows and calves and this morning we came across the whole bunch of them.
This young mum had her calf near by and we were struck how smart and clean she looked, Her hair looked combed and even her feet looked clean so she was awarded "Blip of the day" They certainly are an attraction with visitors and blippers alike as they graze on the open moor next to the roads with these magnificent horns and I'm sure they will appear again over the next few months.
