Hobblers Abroad
Well abroad in the sense of walking locally!
I was back to the BRI this morning for my Flu Vaccine Trial appointment, a quick one to have bloods taken today. It's very jolly in the research centre and the staff are lovely. At one point there were five of us waiting to have our blood taken and four of us had tricky veins (not me!) The call went out for Nabeela, whose superpower must be her ability to find veins. Within a few moments everyone was sorted.
It's been a fine afternoon so I put the call out to see if any retired Hobblers fancied a walk and so here we are enjoying the late sunshine. A stop off for cuppas at the garden centre and a couple of hours spent in excellent company. Luckily, there was a handy fencepost to rest the camera on for this blip on the timer.
Next week it will be a larger group outing to Saltaire to view the Advent windows and partake of a glass or two of mulled wine.
