Royal Mail get it wrong

On the 9th April, my son posted a parcel from London to his mother clearly addressed for delivery to South Africa.

Well, it finally arrived in our post box today, having gone across the Atlantic Ocean to the Cayman Islands in the Caribbean, and we assume again went via London before arriving at its final intended destination.

In regular calls to the SAPO, we were told the consignment had not arrived in the country, and we eventually assumed it had been nicked somewhere in our postal system, and we would never see it.

Humblest apologies to our PO for blaming them.

The irony is that our son is currently visiting us from London, and bought the replacement item with him.
