Busy busy

Woke up slightly later than planned and felt like I was running at full tilt all day to try and catch up! Very wet walk with Phin followed by a slow drive to Mission HQ. Wipers were going full pelt abut baking very little difference. Many drivers seemingly unaware of needing to leave longer gaps in the rain so a few hair raising moments en route but I made it safely.

Very busy day in the warehouse but today’s volunteers work in a distillery and are very hard workers so we got through a huge number of applications. So much so that we started running out of gifts for several age groups. Hoping for good collections from the pick up points.


We finished up mid afternoon and I picked up a few bits for dinner before getting in the car at 4.30 to drive home. It didn’t stop raining all day and traffic was almost gridlocked so it took me over an hour to drive the 13 miles home by which time the rain thankfully stopped.

Spent the evening catching up on various chores before heading to bed.
