Haak en Steek

After the challenges of biting ants, and, to be frank, poorly maintained accommodation at Mosu, we elected to move to Haak en Steek, fully with the knowledge that it was gas and solar powered.

What we didn’t anticipate was that we had our own personal viewing point over the watering hole just beyond our veranda, where we could sit and watch the multitude of beasts that came to visit.

The cherry on top were the three rhino that arrived just before sunset, much to I’s delight. The extras show just how good it was. The cocktails created by Jambo were pretty good too!

A wee braai supper and a few hours whiled away enjoying drinks, chat, and the glorious star filled sky, as the air cooled.

A perfect end to what has been a super trip.
