Magi and Shepherds
A very long and tedious journey back to Sussex today so that I could visit the dentist in Lewes. The tooth I broke earlier this year requires some treatment so this is the first of several visits. I can't complain really as its my first dental treatment this century.
Mrs L came along to visit friends and deliver Christmas cards in one of the villages where we used to live while I walked the spaniel and viewed some stained glass. I rather like this James Powell & Sons east window at St Mary's. It dates from 1904 and shows the adoration of the magi and the shepherds.
The journey back to Oxfordshire was even worse: nearly four hours to travel 85 miles.
