Our busy day started with breakfast at our favorite diner, the first eat-in breakfast since covid. Egad! We got there early, sat in our favorite booth, and felt as if no time had passed at all :)) • Lots of shopping then a visit at the river to enjoy the mallards and Canada geese • #13 on the AV Club’s Top 25 Holiday films is The Nightmare Before Christmas, 1993, “an American stop-motion animated musical dark fantasy” (Thank You Wikipedia) directed by Henry Selick; produced and conceived by Tim Burton. Danny Elfman wrote the songs and score. Voices provided by Chris Sarandon, Catherine O’Hara, William Hickey, Paul Reubens. Nominated for the Academy Award for Best Visual Effects, but lost to Jurassic Park • I have never seen this one, in fact I’ve avoided it over the years, LoL, so I’m thinking I should give it a try one of these days ;) • It was wonderful to see a burst of snow filling the air this afternoon • Peace & Love
