Day off joy

It’s been a hectic few weeks at work, with little time off, and so I had a gloriously indulgent mid week day off today. I went for a lovely run this morning then headed into town for a potter.

I have 9 books to read by the end of the year to reach my total and about ten hours on trains over the next few days. The library sorted me out with some shorter reads but I still think my target is a little ambitious.

My train for Glasgow leaves at 5.30am tomorrow so I’m ending my day off in the most perfect way - with a super early night. Im genuinely thrilled to have an excuse to be in bed at *o’clock.
