Old cottage.
On the way back to Havelock today, I passed this old cottage. The ones of this are the only photos I got all day, so this is it.
We left home this morning - stopped in Havelock at boat shop, then the dentist, then into Picton to give a friend a present (we got the name of their yacht engraved on some whisky glasses to give to them). Then PJ had to be a the Sounds Air depot at the Railway station, as they were flying out of Blenheim instead of Koromiko. Thick fog was the problem.
He is off to Wellington, then off to Brisbane tomorrow with a mate - off to see some rugby. Weather forecast is sounding a bit iffy for flying tomorrow, so we will have to see if they even get to leave.
After dropping him off, I headed back to Havelock, for a 2 hour meeting, which I left at 4.00pm, as I didn't want to be on the road too long after dark. Even by then, it was much darker than usual . Got home without any mishaps. There had been a few new slips on the road this morning, that hadn't been there when I had come in from town on Monday afternoon.
The pups had ended up spending the day with an elderly neighbour. I had asked Juli to check if they were ok, about mid morning, but when she got up here, Gypsy was out of her cage, and running around. Poppy was still on the chain - we had put her on that, as she is the one who usually gets out!
So Juli took them to visit Mrs M, and they stayed with her for the rest of the day. I hear the Poppy even got to sleep on the bed, and Gypsy in Mrs M's chair by the heater.
When I put them to bed tonigh, I could hear running water. Found that a pipe had come apart on the garden tap. Got soaked trying to get that back together, after a phone call to PJ, I managed that. It's still got a bit of a leak, but that can be sorted out tomorrow.
