hawthorn blossom

There was some bee-on-bee action in my garden yesterday but I wasn't quick enough with the camera so you have some rather dull flower photos instead. I don't remember my hawthorn blossoming so much though I've been in this house for almost twenty years. Perhaps I've been unobservant?
